Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to turn AI prototypes into production-ready software. You will own AI systems, collaborate with cybersecurity and cloud teams, and mentor engineers while delivering reliable, auditable AI-driven workflows.

The role is hybrid with preferred in-office collaboration at select locations. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in software development, cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, and strong testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
• Production ownership of AI systems.
• Experience with major cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Lead system analysis and translate AI proofs of concept to production-ready software.
• Provide technical and engineering support from delivery until retirement of applications.
• Develop, test and review applications per requirements and best practices; use agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and AI governance teams.
• Mentor engineers and work with internal users to shape POCs into scalable software.
• Lead unit/integration tests and evals to ensure reliability, security, and performance of AI systems.
