Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to turn AI prototypes into robust, production-ready software. You’ll own AI systems, partner with cybersecurity and cloud teams, and mentor engineers while shipping scalable, observable AI workflows in a hybrid environment.

You’ll work with internal users who built POCs, shaping them into reliable software and workflows that meet regulatory and quality standards. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of technical experience in software development.
• Production ownership of AI systems (AI agents, AI features, MCP servers).
• Experience with a major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud security/devops concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translates AI proofs of concept into production-ready software with reliable workflows and monitoring.
• Leads technical/engineering support for applications from delivery to retirement.
• Develops, tests and reviews applications per business requirements using agentic workflows.
• Reviews code and collaborates with security and AI governance partners to ensure quality and compliance.
• Creates technical documentation and participates in cross-functional meetings.
