Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Senior AI Engineer for Agentforce & Missionforce Operations to shape product and the engineering team. You will partner with leaders to deliver trusted AI systems for high-security public-sector workflows and operate with autonomy on mission-critical platforms.

You will drive design, evaluation, and deployment of AI features, ensuring reliability, safety, and cost efficiency across varied environments while mentoring peers and raising engineering quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS or equivalent with AI coursework.
• 4+ years in software engineering with AI/ML focus.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience in production distributed systems, APIs, data models.
• Expertise in model evaluation, telemetry, and safety.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and reliability.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineers to deliver reliable AI features.
• Lead development of intelligent agents for complex supply chain tasks.
• Design planning, orchestration, and evaluation systems for autonomous workflows.
• Make architectural decisions for mission-critical, multi-env deployments.
• Establish practices for model evaluation, observability, and cost control.
• Translate product vision into multi-year technical roadmaps.
• Drive AI model deployment safety, reliability, and governance.
