Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior AI Angineer for Agentforce & Missionforce Operations to shape product direction and lead the engineering team. You will collaborate with product leaders and forward-deployed engineers to deliver trusted AI systems for mission-critical public-sector workflows.

You will drive development of AI features, ensure security and cost-effectiveness, and mentor teams while maintaining high technical quality and ownership across the organization.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent with AI coursework (MS a plus).
• 4+ years in software engineering with focus on AI/ML.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience designing and operating production-grade distributed systems, APIs and data models.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and evaluating model performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineers to build reliable AI platform features.
• Lead development of intelligent agents for supply chain tasks.
• Design planning, orchestration, and evaluation systems for autonomous workflows.
• Make architectural decisions for mission-critical, highly available systems.
• Establish engineering practices for model evaluation, AI safety, observability, and cost management.
