Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and build advanced agent architectures using Agentforce, Script, and NGA. You will integrate with Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud, and external platforms, delivering high-quality, scalable AI-enabled agent solutions for thousands of users.

You will mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and drive performance improvements while working in an agile environment focused on agentic AI capabilities and enterprise-level reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of development experience with growing technical complexity.
• Strong backend experience in Java or Python (or similar OO language).
• Hands-on with AI/ML frameworks and large language models.
• Proven prompt engineering, RAG architectures, production LLM applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build sophisticated agent architectures for production systems serving 15,000+ users.
• Architect multi-node orchestration and agentic workflows for complex use cases.
• Lead implementation of agent memory, context, and conversation state handling.
• Develop and optimize retrieval/embedding strategies and prompt engineering.
• Build scalable integrations with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein, MuleSoft, and external APIs.
• Create content ingestion pipelines for knowledge bases; data formats incl. PDFs and web content.
• Drive platform migrations with zero downtime; ensure observability and debugging capabilities.
• Mentor engineers; contribute to technical roadmap and architecture reviews.
