Salesforce, a leader in AI-powered CRM, is expanding with Missionforce Operations to reimagine public sector supply chains. You will help shape AI products and engineering practices for mission-critical workflows and trusted AI systems.

You’ll work with product leaders and forward-deployed engineers to deliver scalable AI solutions, balancing security, reliability, and cost in a high-velocity, startup-within-Salesforce environment.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent with AI coursework (MS a plus).
• 4+ years of software engineering with a focus in AI/ML.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience designing and operating production-grade distributed systems, APIs and data models.
• Deep expertise in model evaluation, benchmarks, and production telemetry for monitoring.
• Experience building production systems with LLM orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and forward-deployed engineers to build reliable new features for our AI platform.
• Lead development of intelligent agents that complete complex supply chain tasks with reliability and consistency.
• Design and implement planning, orchestration, and evaluation systems enabling agents to execute multi-step workflows autonomously.
• Make architectural decisions for mission-critical, highly available systems across varied deployment environments.
• Establish engineering practices for model evaluation, AI safety, observability, reliability, and cost management.
