Capital One is seeking an AI Engineer 4 to advance our Gen AI platform services, focusing on agentic AI and scalable AI infrastructure. You will partner with engineers, researchers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered banking solutions, spanning foundation model training, inference, and multi-agent workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/AI/EE or related field with several years of AI/ML experience.
• Proven experience building AI/ML systems, scalable and production-ready.

Responsabilités

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products for associates and customers.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and inference.
• Lead architecture for complex AI systems with focus on observability, security, and governance.
• Define and maintain SLOs for AI reliability including latency and model drift.
• Mentor engineers on scalable design and production-ready translation of research to production.
