The role demands 6+ years in software engineering, 3+ in production Generative AI, and strong AWS, Python, React, Terraform, and CI/CD ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in production Generative AI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including building and operating production workloads.
• Proficiency in Python, React, GitHub Actions, and Terraform, with ownership of CI/CD processes.
• Experience in regulated domains such as insurance or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build streams within a pod, from problem shaping to production operation.
• Design and operate production Generative AI agents and workflows, ensuring integration with enterprise systems.
• Develop full-stack software, delivering both service and user interface components.
• Manage deployment and operations on AWS, utilizing infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices.
• Implement observability and human-in-the-loop controls for AI systems, ensuring compliance and reliability.
• Integrate AI services with existing enterprise systems using approved patterns and versioned contracts.
• Mentor junior AI engineers, promoting engineering standards and operational excellence.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead the design and delivery of production Generative AI solutions that connect with enterprise systems and support real-world business operations. You will own full-stack build streams from early problem framing through deployment and ongoing production support. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams and vendor stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable AI capabilities.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $130,000 – $155,000 annually
