Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr Manager, AI/ML Engineering to drive AI capabilities across the enterprise in a fully remote role. You will guide teams on Generative AI, traditional ML, and intelligent automation to deliver scalable, responsible AI solutions aligned with product innovation and cloud modernization.

The role partners with product, engineering, and leadership to ensure AI initiatives meet business objectives and regulatory standards while advancing enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• 5+ years managing engineering teams and technical leaders.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise-scale AI, ML, Data, or Cloud platforms.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and AI architecture.
• 3+ years experience with Agentic AI, RAG, AI orchestration, and intelligent automation.
• Solid Python development background and familiarity with enterprise-scale AI platforms.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native services including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, OpenSearch, and S3.
• Experience leading AI governance and model lifecycle management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML adoption across teams, focusing on Generative AI and traditional ML techniques.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve AI-powered software solutions.
• Build responsible AI solutions ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Manager, AI/ML Engineering - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will lead the development and adoption of AI and ML capabilities across the enterprise, with a strong focus on Generative AI, traditional machine learning, and intelligent automation. You will guide technical teams in building scalable, responsible AI solutions that support product innovation, operational efficiency, and measurable business impact. The position partners closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align AI initiatives with enterprise strategy and cloud modernization efforts.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $148,900 – $255,300 annually
