Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks a Senior Staff SDET to own quality architecture and engineering strategy for our critical systems, leading how AI is applied across the testing and release pipeline. You’ll build frameworks, platforms, and agent-driven workflows that the rest of engineering relies on, and define what "safe to ship" means for our AI-native quality systems.

This is a hands-on, senior technical leadership role with impact across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on quality engineering or SDET experience with automation platforms.
• Proven track record designing and scaling test automation across frontend, mobile, and backend.
• Hands-on AI in testing: LLM-assisted generation, agent workflows, self-healing approaches.
• Experience mentoring senior quality engineers and leading quality initiatives at scale.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, and automation gates.

Responsibilities

• Own quality architecture for critical systems and define long-term quality strategy.
• Design shared quality platforms, automation frameworks, and test infrastructure used across teams.
• Establish scalable quality patterns and guardrails to reduce brittle tests.
• Anticipate systemic quality risks and drive preventative architectural solutions.
• Lead AI-driven testing strategy: autonomous test generation, intelligent test selection, self-healing automation.
