Job summary

Opiniion is seeking a Senior SDET to own test strategy and automation across our platform. This role focuses on production-quality code to build and maintain automation frameworks, both for the current platform and a new platform we are building in parallel.

You will lead design and build with architects on the new platform and fully own quality there once shipped, while on the current platform you already own test automation and regression coverage.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development or test automation experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• Experience with API test automation and tools like REST Assured or Postman.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Own CI/CD quality gates and test criteria in the pipeline.
• Write and maintain automated test suites in step with feature development.
• Mentor engineers on test automation practices and testable code design.
