micro1 is seeking a Staff-level Quality Engineering (SDET) leader to design and build an intelligent, automated QA system. You will own the automation architecture and drive quality deeply into development workflows, enabling fast, confident shipping.

You will mentor teams, define testing standards, and advance AI-powered test generation, regression testing, and failure analysis across web apps, APIs, and complex end-to-end workflows.

Formación

• Staff-level expertise in Quality Engineering or SDET with automation focus.
• Experience building production-grade test automation frameworks.
• Automation of web apps, APIs and end-to-end workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD and test infrastructure.
• AI-native engineering habits and use of AI in testing workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Build agentic QA systems: design AI-powered workflows for test generation, automated regression testing, failure analysis, and intelligent bug triage.
• Own test automation architecture: build scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for web apps, APIs, integrations, and critical end-to-end workflows.
• Make quality continuous: integrate automated quality checks into development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
• Automate regression and triage: develop systems that detect regressions, identify root causes, classify failures, and reduce manual investigation effort.
• Improve testing intelligence: use AI agents to identify coverage gaps, generate test scenarios, and prioritize testing by changes and risk.
• Design QA for scale: support growing product complexity and velocity without proportional QA staffing increases.
• Establish quality observability: provide visibility into test reliability, regression trends, release readiness, and product quality.
• Raise the engineering bar: mentor engineers, set testing standards, and foster shared ownership of quality.
