Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Staff SDET to own quality architecture and AI-enabled testing strategy across our flagship platforms. You will design automation frameworks, define guardrails, and lead how AI is applied to testing, triage, and self-healing within the CI/CD pipeline.

You will mentor senior SDETs, shape quality metrics, and drive scalable quality solutions that reduce risk while enabling rapid releases. This is a hands-on, senior technical leadership role with broad impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in quality engineering or SDET roles.
• Experience architecting quality strategy and automation platforms across multiple teams.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to testing (LLM-assisted testing, agent workflows, self-healing automation).
• Experience mentoring and developing senior quality engineers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own quality architecture for our most critical systems and define long-term quality strategy.
• Design shared quality platforms, automation frameworks, and test infrastructure across teams.
• Establish quality patterns and guardrails to scale testing at the platform level.
• Anticipate systemic quality and reliability risks and drive preventive architectural solutions.
• Set the standard for quality engineering at scale and reduce testing debt.
