Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking an Advanced Product Manager to shape our product offerings, leveraging AI-driven insights to drive market research, backlog grooming, and feature prioritization. You will lead cross-functional teams across global locations, translate customer needs into PRDs and user stories, and influence our product roadmap through data‑driven decisions.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree is required.
8+ years of experience.
Knowledge and understanding of SW applications relevant to the use of the products for the markets and use cases enabled by the products.
Experience with AI-driven tools, such as machine learning-based diagnostic systems, virtual assistants, or predictive maintenance solutions to improve customer support operations.
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and Confluence.
Experience with software development best practices including Scaled Agile, TDD and Continuous Integration; a track record of applying these methodologies.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of Zebra's products, competitive landscape, distribution channels, and customer needs.
Advocate for the voice of the customer, integrating their feedback into product development processes.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
Utilize AI tools to aggregate and analyze customer feedback, support tickets, and market trends to rapidly identify user pain points and feature opportunities.
Leverage Generative AI to draft Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes, ensuring high quality and faster time-to-market.
Use AI/ML analytical models to simulate roadmap scenarios, forecast feature impact, and prioritize the product backlog based on objective ROI and user value metrics.
Deploy AI agents to continuously monitor the competitive landscape in the Task Management space, summarizing key competitor updates and market shifts.
Define and execute demand generation initiatives in an effort to drive realization of product revenue plans in collaboration with regional product and marketing.
Owns product lifecycle management for assigned product lines including tactical execution, managing customer requirements, developing and driving end of life plans and execution of inventory objectives.
Define and manage product offerings following the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
Drive innovation by identifying and leveraging emerging technologies to create competitive differentiation.
Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
Provides recommendations to influence distribution strategy to meet market needs.
Supports product launch by providing a comprehensive understanding of the value proposition.
Deliver product training to sales, sales engineers, technical support and other internal and external stakeholders.
Works closely with development teams and other key stakeholders to oversee new product development to validate development is on spec. Identifies beta site targets and drafts and implements plans.
