Job summary

Hiya Inc. in Seattle is hiring a Senior Content Strategist to own how we use content to reach, engage, and convert buyers across markets.

You'll decide what we publish and write the pieces that matter most, collaborating with product marketing, sales, and demand generation. A core part of the role is ensuring our content is found and cited by search and AI answer platforms, balancing human readability with machine discoverability, and shaping content strategy for humans and machines.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in content strategy or content marketing at senior IC level.
• Proven full-funnel content programs that generate demand and pipeline.
• Excellent writing and editing across long-form to short promotional copy.
• Solid SEO fundamentals: structure, keyword strategy, internal linking, and measurability.
• Hands-on use of AI to produce content while maintaining quality.
• Experience with multi-market, localized, or regulated content.

Responsibilities

• Set Hiya's content strategy across the full funnel, grounded in insights, product positioning, and search/AI discovery shifts.
• Write and edit pillar content yourself, including the annual State of the Call survey, owning long-form reports and cornerstone pages.
• Make content easy to find and cite, partnering with Web Manager and GTM Engineering for discoverability across search and AI engines.
• Build an AI-native content engine across briefs, drafting, localization, editorial standards, refresh cycles, and distribution.
• Create assets for promotional channels (email, social, paid), atomizing larger pieces for these venues and ensuring message clarity.
• Track engagement and pipeline impact, turning data into decisions and sharing results with marketing leadership in tools like Asana.
