CVS Health is seeking a senior T-shaped Architect+Engineer to lead AI-driven architecture across our healthcare technology platforms. You will drive high-level design, establish standards, and collaborate with business partners to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.

You will mentor engineers, shape roadmaps, and evaluate new technologies to accelerate delivery. The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, cloud, data platforms, and modern microservice patterns.

Competenze

• 15+ years of relevant work experience (8+ years in architecture).
• 10+ years building large scale applications using modern technologies and architecture.
• 10+ years designing complex integrations with a focus on performance, APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture.
• 8+ years of experience with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• 6+ years mentoring delivery teams on north star architectures, starter code, and POCs.
• Expert-level understanding of architectural methodologies, governance, and standards.
• Experience with AI/ML/Agentic AI, cloud, data platforms and scale.
• Strong collaboration, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Mansioni

• Define roadmaps, architectures, standards and starter code reference implementations to accelerate delivery.
• Evaluate market trends, buy vs. build decisions and assess impact on business outcomes.
• Define future state architecture for AI, APIs, data stores, cloud services and microservices.
• Collaborate with technology and business partners to adopt modern architectures surrounding AI.
• Develop and maintain a strategic vision for CVS Health platform capabilities.
• Define frameworks for the enterprise to promote reuse, reduce cost and manage risk.
• Mentor engineers and stakeholders on architecture and design; ensure non-functional requirements are met.
• Spearhead continuous improvements and high-level estimation efforts.
