CVS Health is seeking a senior Architecture leader to guide enterprise AI initiatives, drive scalable system design, and mentor engineers across CVS Health technology teams. You will shape roadmaps, define standards, and lead high-impact architectural decisions that influence business outcomes.

You will collaborate with partners to deliver modern, reusable frameworks, ensure non-functional requirements, and advance AI-enabled healthcare solutions at scale within CVS Health.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant work experience, including 8+ years in architecture.
• 10+ years building large-scale business applications using modern technologies and architecture.
• 8+ years designing complex integrations with a focus on performance engineering and loose coupling using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• 8+ years of experience with modern languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• 6+ years mentoring delivery teams on north star architectures and starter code.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmaps, architectures, standards and starter code reference implementations for CVS Health technology teams focusing on AI.
• Evaluate market trends, buy vs. build decisions and impact on business outcomes.
• Define future state architecture for AI, APIs, data stores, cloud infrastructures, cloud services and microservices.
• Collaborate with technology and business partners to optimize applications adopting modern architecture and AI.
• Develop a strategic vision to support capabilities aligned to CVS Health platform and trends.
• Create frameworks for the enterprise that promote reuse, reduce cost, manage risk and speed time-to-market.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and stakeholders on architecture and design.
