Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to translate requirements into robust UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will craft components and services that interoperate with upstream and downstream systems to meet business needs.

The role emphasizes agile delivery, API design, and distributed systems experience, with opportunities to travel to client sites and influence architecture and tooling decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 2–4 years relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring final product meets needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients and engage with stakeholders.
