Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Application Designer and Developer to design and deliver user interfaces across mobile, web and tablet platforms. You will translate business needs into scalable UI components and services that interact with upstream and downstream systems.

You will work in a client-facing hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, applying agile practices, and shaping platforms with AI and cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements with clients, ensuring final product meets needs.
• Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, engaging directly with stakeholders.
