Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to deliver innovative UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You’ll translate business requirements into technical design, develop prototypes, and contribute within an agile delivery process.

You will work on distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and AI-enabled solutions, collaborating with clients and teams to deliver scalable software in a hybrid work environment. Regular travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience with Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and user-friendly.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients and stakeholders.
