Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to join our Platforms Practice. You will identify user requirements and develop UI components across mobile, web, and tablet interfaces, ensuring business goals are met through robust coding and APIs.

Responsibilities include collaborating with clients, designing intuitive interfaces, and delivering solutions in an agile, distributed environment. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 2–4 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building agents.
• Design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication/authorization with Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and AAD.
• Experience with data visualization tools (D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts).
• Experience with dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
• Experience with complex codebase and frontend performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and develop user interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications aligned with business goals.
• Travel may be required to meet with clients and stakeholders.
