Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to design and deliver UI components across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will translate business requirements into robust frontend architectures, craft maintainable code, and collaborate with clients to ensure solutions meet needs and scale.

The role emphasizes agile delivery, cloud and distributed systems thinking, and hands-on work with modern AI-enabled tooling. Hybrid work and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders.
