Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Lead to head a forward-deployed AI pod within its Data & AI organization.

You will set technical direction for agentic AI systems, manage intake-to-delivery, and build reusable patterns with executives, Product, Security, and Operations. You will lead AI Engineers, deliver high-impact use cases, and establish guardrails, observability, and scalable patterns to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, product, or AI delivery
• 3+ years leading teams that shipped AI-powered production software
• Hands-on with LLM orchestration and AI systems
• Cross-functional communication with executives and engineers
• Cloud-native (AWS preferred)
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise AI solutions
• Responsible AI governance and guardrails knowledge
• Strong collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the Forward-Deployed Engineering pod: own outcomes, roadmap, growth and performance
• Run the operating model: value/feasibility/data-risk scoring, time-boxed engagements
• Set technical direction for production agentic systems: orchestration, RAG, human-in-the-loop
• Stand up delivery foundations: evaluation harness, guardrails, observability
• Own cost-to-serve: model selection, LLM migration, prompt caching
• Partner with sponsors to translate use cases into shipped systems
• Collaborate with delivery vendors while protecting IP
• Report impact on speed/quality/cost/learning to SLT
• Scale the capability by seeding a spoke network
