Job summary

EBSCO Information Services seeks a Delivery Lead to head the Forward-Deployed Engineering pod within the Data & AI Organization (DAIO). You will own the delivery roadmap, manage a small expert team, and partner with sponsors across Product, Security, Customer Service, and Operations to ship AI that measurably improves speed, quality, and cost.

You will define technical direction for production agentic AI, stand up reusable patterns and guardrails, and report impact to senior leadership.

Qualifications

10+ years in software, product, or AI delivery with team leadership.
End-to-end production AI/ML delivery experience.
Hands-on with agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and prompt engineering.
Strong cross-functional collaboration with executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead the Forward-Deployed Engineering pod and manage outcomes and roadmap.
Score inbound demand for value, feasibility, and data risk; enforce clean hand-offs.
Set technical direction for production agentic systems (RAG, orchestration, guardrails).
Stand up reuse patterns, evaluation harness, and observability for AI delivery.
Own cost-to-serve: model selection, LLM migration, prompt caching, token economics.
Partner with business sponsors to convert use cases into shipped systems.
Collaborate with vendors while protecting EBSCO IP ownership.
Measure impact on speed, quality, cost, and learning; report to SLT.
