Job summary

Cisco is seeking a seasoned counsel to join our Legal team to drive AI procurement, software licensing, and data agreements. You will manage high-stakes negotiations, provide practical risk guidance, and help scale AI initiatives across the business to protect Cisco’s IP and data.

You will leverage AI-powered tools to streamline contracting, mentor cross-functional partners, and influence strategic decisions while maintaining rigorous compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar or relevant jurisdiction.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology transactions, software/SaaS, or AI/data-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex AI procurement, SaaS, and data licensing agreements.
• Lead negotiation process and quality control for contract lifecycle with AI tools.
• Translate regulatory risks into practical guidance for internal clients.
