Job summary

Cisco seeks a seasoned counsel to join our Legal organization to manage AI procurement, data licensing, and SaaS agreements while protecting Cisco’s IP and data. You will lead negotiations and draft complex contracts, leveraging AI tools for CLM and offering practical risk guidance to internal clients across product roadmaps and GTM strategies.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar or relevant jurisdiction.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience in technology transactions, software/SaaS, or AI/data-related matters.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; high analytical and business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a rapid pipeline of deal inquiries with risk mitigation.
• Draft and negotiate AI procurement, SaaS, and data licensing agreements.
• Lead negotiation process and quality control for contract lifecycle assisted by AI tools.
• Stay current on benchmarking, contracting trends, and AI/data regulations; translate into internal playbooks.
