Cisco is seeking a seasoned counsel to join our legal team to guide AI procurement and data licensing deals, including SaaS and AI-enabled solutions. You will manage a rapid deal pipeline, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and leverage AI tools to streamline contract lifecycle while mitigating risk.

This role requires a JD, bar admission, at least five years in technology transactions, and the ability to translate regulatory risk into practical business guidance.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar or relevant jurisdiction.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology transactions, software/SaaS, or AI/data matters.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; high level of analytical and business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex AI procurement, SaaS, and data licensing agreements.
• Assist business leaders in navigating and negotiating complex AI deals.
• Lead negotiation process and quality control for contract lifecycle assisted by AI tools.
• Translate regulatory and legal risks into practical advice for internal clients.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives related to contracts, data and AI strategy.
• Leverage AI-powered analytics to automate routine tasks and focus on high-value negotiations.
