American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, is seeking a Principal AI Data Scientist to build, deploy, and scale enterprise AI solutions from data to production. The role centers on driving business decisions with predictive analytics and modeling across multiple functions.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, mentor junior members, and present complex analytics clearly to internal and external customers, while operating in a hybrid work environment based in Amelia, Ohio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data science/predictive analytics experience in (re)insurance or 8+ years predictive modeling experience in another industry.
• Experience leading modeling projects and presenting results to stakeholders.
• Strong ability to communicate results to business partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership across the full AI lifecycle, from model development to production deployment.
• Develop predictive analytics and modeling presentations and communicate results to customers and management.
• Identify data anomalies and drive data preparation and cleaning as needed.
• Explain advanced analytics in business-friendly language.
