Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, seeks a Principal AI Data Scientist to lead the data science lifecycle from development to deployment. You will drive predictive analytics initiatives across multiple business domains, partnering with stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

You will oversee modeling best practices, coach junior analysts, and ensure governance and scalability in enterprise AI solutions within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, CS, or related.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete predictive analytics analyses and modeling with guidance on complex projects.
• Participate in development of predictive analytics and model presentations for internal and external customers.
• Contribute to projects yielding actionable insights to improve customer satisfaction, policy growth, retention and profitability.
• Data preparation, including data input with guidance and data quality checks.
• Identify data anomalies and recommend adjustments to ensure data integrity.
• Communicate assumptions, results, and alternatives to team members and regulators when needed.
• Lead hands‑on across the AI lifecycle from model development to production deployment.
• Schedule and prioritize workload; maintain organization; perform peer reviews as needed.
