Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, AI to execute data science, ML, and generative/agentic AI initiatives within healthcare workflows. You will partner with AI Product Managers, engineers, clinicians, and governance teams to translate business questions into rigorous data science solutions.

The role develops predictive models, LLM capabilities, evaluation approaches, and reusable AI assets to improve patient experience, operational efficiency, and enterprise

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in data science, ML, analytics or related field.
• Experience building models and analytical frameworks that influence outcomes.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with product, engineering, clinical, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate AI use‑case objectives into data science plans with success metrics.
• Develop and evaluate ML models and statistical analyses for healthcare use cases.
• Design and deploy LLM- and agent-based capabilities within production workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data science outputs meet real workflow needs.
