Samsara in the United States is hiring a senior data/AI engineer for the Marketing Data and Analytics team to shape the technical roadmap and own the data foundation powering AI and self-serve analytics.

You will architect Databricks pipelines, Gold Layer tables, and semantic models, collaborate with BI and Data Science, and mentor engineers while delivering trusted data products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data/AI engineering with hands-on data engineering.
• Expert Python and SQL with data modeling and DBT experience.
• Experience with data warehouses/lakehouses and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for MDA data/AI foundation.
• Architect marketing data infra: ETL/ELT pipelines and Databricks Gold Layer.
• Design semantic layers and data dictionaries for self-serve BI.
• Lead cross-team data initiatives end-to-end and mentor engineers.
