Job summary

G2i Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer for AI Training. This is an open contract, remote worldwide, paying $100–$200/hour, 10-20 hrs/week, based on experience.

You will evaluate AI coding agents like OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor, focusing on the quality of reasoning, usefulness, and engineering judgment, with detailed written feedback and Loom walkthroughs.

Strong English (B2+) is required; candidates should be senior, staff, or principal level with hands-on tool experience.

Qualifications

• Senior engineers or equivalent with hands-on AI tooling experience.
• Strong English speaking and writing skills.
• Ability to judge model outputs without executing code.
• Experience with prompt design or evaluation workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, correctness at a high level, and engineering judgment.
• Provide clear, opinionated written feedback on what worked or felt off.
• Define what great looks like when using Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Deliver Loom walkthrough feedback and documented recommendations.
• Assess explanations and reasoning, not just code output.
