Job summary

G2i Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to evaluate AI coding interactions with tools like OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor. You will assess whether responses are sensible, well-reasoned, and reflect strong engineering judgment.

You will provide detailed, written feedback and participate in Loom walkthroughs. This is a contract role with global remote availability and weekly hours ranging from 10 to 20.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal-level engineer or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI-assisted dev workflows.
• Able to evaluate code without executing it or reviewing every line.
• Strong written and spoken English; able to write detailed feedback and video explanations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, high-level correctness, and engineering judgment.
• Assess explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Provide clear, opinionated written feedback on strengths and weaknesses.
• Help define what great looks like when working with AI coding tools.
