Job summary

DigitalOcean seeks a Senior Account Executive to drive growth with AI startups across the Bay Area. You will be the primary face to high-potential accounts, aligning business and technical needs with our cloud platform and AI capabilities.

You will collaborate across teams to remove blockers and expand customer engagements. You will nurture relationships, lead renewals, and communicate product value while building a network of AI founders and accelerators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an account executive or account manager for a technical product or experience as a sales or support engineer.
• Cloud Infrastructure and AI experience required.
• Self-starter, timely, and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Proven experience in onboarding and customer success pipelines.
• Strong written and phone communication, proactive account management.
• Ability to gather and relay customer feedback to product/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in the Bay Area AI ecosystem to identify and win top startups.
• Own relationships with high-potential accounts as primary contact for business and technical needs.
• Advocate for customers internally to remove roadblocks and ensure success.
• Drive account growth through ongoing engagement and opportunity identification.
• Manage contract renewals and communicate value of new features for expansion.
• Partner with marketing, product, and customer success to deliver top-tier experiences.
• Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for product and engineering.
