Job summary

Commure, together with Athelas, is building the AI-powered Revenue Cycle Management platform for healthcare. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to scale Insights and own frontend/backend architecture for thousands of practices nationwide.

You will design scalable full-stack solutions and mentor engineers while collaborating with product and design teams to deliver user-friendly experiences for healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building scalable full-stack apps.
• Proficiency in full-stack development with JavaScript (React/Vue), Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong architectural skills for scalable, reliable web apps.
• Experience leading multi-month high-impact projects in fast-paced settings.
• Deep understanding of modern frontend engineering: React, performance, state management.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction of Insights to scale for thousands of practices and users.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Improve reliability via monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
• Optimize performance and scalability of web applications as we grow nationwide.
• Collaborate with infra and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence across the org.
• Lead and deliver high-impact projects balancing speed and quality.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and drive architectural improvements.
• Work with product/design teams to deliver intuitive healthcare experiences.
