Job summary

Commure is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to scale and maintain Insights, the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform powering thousands of practices nationwide. You’ll own frontend and backend work, guiding architecture and delivering high-impact features that improve healthcare operations.

You will design full-stack solutions using React/Vue, Python, and PostgreSQL, enhance reliability and observability, and collaborate across product, design, and infrastructure teams to ship user-friendly,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in full-stack development with JavaScript, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong architectural skills with scalable, reliable web apps.
• Experience leading multi-month, high-impact projects in fast-paced settings.
• Deep understanding of frontend engineering: React fundamentals, state management, performance.
• Experience designing APIs and optimizing database performance.
• Strong debugging and observability skills: monitoring, logging, alerting.
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across the organization.
• Excellent communication, able to present technical concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction of the practice management platform, Insights, scaling to thousands of practices and users.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Improve system reliability and observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
• Optimize performance and scalability of web applications during rapid expansion.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Lead and deliver high-impact projects balancing speed and quality.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and drive architectural improvements across the stack.
• Work with product and design to build intuitive healthcare provider experiences.
