Job summary

ACT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive AI‑augmented development with end‑to‑end ownership from specs to production. The role emphasizes leadership, code quality, and advancing AI practices across teams in a remote position based in the United States.

You will pilot AI tools, integrate modern platforms, and ensure secure, scalable delivery while mentoring colleagues and guiding architectural decisions. A strong background in software engineering and AI‑driven workflows is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience.
• Strong object‑oriented and/or functional programming fundamentals; API design and security awareness.
• Hands-on production use of Claude Code or similar AI‑assisted coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions for AI‑directed development and end‑to‑end feature ownership.
• Pilot new AI tools and evaluate their impact on delivery times, quality, and review burden.
• Review AI‑generated code for correctness, security, and architectural fit.
• Collaborate to advance AI practices across teams and document guardrails and norms.
• Engage in cross‑team initiatives to establish responsible AI tool usage standards.
