Job summary

Experian is seeking a Staff AI Architect to lead the technical vision and architectural strategy for our cloud-native platform and agentic AI capabilities. You will shape how systems are designed and evolved at scale, promoting infrastructure excellence and driving their design, deployment, and evolution.

You will report to the Sr. Principal Engineer as an individual contributor, aligning architecture with product strategy while mentoring staff and guiding cross-team technical decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering and systems architecture with 3+ years in a dedicated architect role.
• 5+ years of AWS architecture experience at scale with multi-account design and cost optimization.
• Experience designing agentic AI architectures and orchestration layers.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural blueprint for cloud-native apps on AWS across compute, data, security and observability.
• Define agentic AI patterns, memory strategies, LLM routing and ADRs.
• Govern DevOps standards: CI/CD, GitOps, blue/green and release engineering.
• Mentor engineers and conduct design reviews to raise technical standards.
