Job summary

Experian is seeking a Staff AI Architect to shape the cloud-native platform and agentic AI capabilities. You will define architectural strategy, promote infrastructure excellence, and drive scalable designs across compute, data, networking, and security.

You will lead architecture reviews, establish SLOs/SLIs, and guide DevOps modernization while mentoring engineers and collaborating with Product and Partners to translate constraints into strategic options.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering and systems architecture.
3+ years in a dedicated architect or principal engineer role.
5+ years of AWS architecture experience at scale with multi-account design.
Experience architecting distributed systems with high availability and low latency.
Experience designing agentic AI architectures: orchestration layers and tooling.
DevOps/platform engineering expertise: Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the architectural blueprint for cloud-native apps at scale on AWS.
Lead agentic AI architecture patterns, including multi-agent systems and tool orchestration.
Govern DevOps standards: CI/CD design, GitOps, deployment strategies, release engineering.
Design and oversee platform infrastructure: ECS, EKS, service mesh, IAM governance, data stores.
Lead architecture reviews and binding technical decisions on high-risk changes.
Produce ADRs, threat models, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.
Mentor engineers on architectural thinking and system design.
Act as technical advisor to product and partners.
