Experian is seeking a Senior Director of AI Platform Engineering to lead the internal platform used by thousands of engineers to build, run, and govern AI-driven software. Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology roles.
• 3+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Track record building and operating production AI systems at enterprise scale (RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM API integration, governance).
• Fluency in the software development lifecycle and perspective on AI changes to it.
• Knowledge of MCP protocol and agentic orchestration, including server development and grounding standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the internal AI platform responsible for identity, rate limiting, data classification enforcement, audit logging, and model access management.
• Oversee the agent marketplace registry, trust framework, and contribution model for shared organizational AI capabilities.
• Build pipeline-level AI layer and determine governance leverage in CI/CD.
• Own the knowledge graph and retrieval architecture.
• Review designs, unblock implementation, and set standards for a team of developers.
