Job summary

Informa TechTarget is seeking a Principal AI Platform Architect to define and build our next-generation AI platform and cloud-native ecosystem. This senior technical leader will design scalable, secure platforms enabling AI-powered products, automation, and modern development across the organization.

The candidate will be hands-on with cloud-native applications and AI-enabled platforms, understanding APIs, event-driven systems, orchestration frameworks, and agentic AI to craft enterprise-scale,

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise software platforms at scale.
• Strong GCP knowledge with Vertex AI preferred.
• Experience building AI platforms with LLMs and orchestrations.
• Experience creating production eval loops for AI systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Security/governance for AI platforms and responsible AI practices.
• Proficient in Python; familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-team influence.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architectural direction for an enterprise AI platform.
• Establish standards for AI governance, security, and evaluation strategies.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on GCP for enterprise workloads.
• Define patterns for microservices, events, and API-first design.
• Build CI/CD pipelines deploying to cloud and integrating with legacy systems.
• Provide governance and architectural guidance across engineering teams.
• Balance strategic vision with hands-on implementation to earn engineering trust.
• Enable teams to extend the platform with new components and agents.
