Job summary

Experian is seeking an AI Native Staff Architect to define the future of our platform with a balance of long-term vision and hands-on execution. You will lead architecture for cloud-native solutions on AWS, mentor engineers, and participate in solution design, prototyping, and implementation while reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Experience with Java architectures for high-volume, low-latency apps
• Proven ability to lead multiple engineering teams and align with business goals
• Expertise in event-driven, data-intensive platforms and APIs
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing and messaging (Kafka)
• Strong background in architecture standards and mentoring engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design for cloud-native fraud and risk platforms on AWS
• Define technical strategy for digital intelligence and device fingerprinting
• Mentor engineers and establish architecture reviews
• Design RESTful services to handle large real-time data with low latency
• Guide AI/ML embedding into product features and promote AI tooling adoption
