Job summary

Informa TechTarget seeks a Principal AI Platform Architect to define and build the next generation of our AI platform and cloud-native ecosystem. This senior technical leadership role focuses on scalable, secure systems that enable AI-powered products and automated workflows across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with extensive experience in cloud-native design, APIs, event-driven systems, and agentic AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise software platforms
• Strong Google Cloud Platform expertise with AI capabilities (Vertex AI preferred)
• AI platform experience building production systems for agentic workflows and LLMs
• Experience with eval loops for production AI monitoring and tuning
• Event-driven architecture and distributed systems with microservices/APIs
• Platform security and governance knowledge, including responsible AI practices
• Python proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools
• Exceptional communication skills to influence technical direction across teams

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable AI platform supporting LLMs and agentic workflows across teams
• Establish architectural standards for AI governance, security, and operational excellence
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform for enterprise-scale workloads
• Define platform patterns for microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first design
• Build CI/CD pipelines deploying to the cloud while interfacing with legacy systems
• Provide architecture guidance and governance through reviews and standards
• Balance strategic platform vision with hands-on implementation
• Enable teams to add components and functionalities within the platform
• Lead architectural direction with product leadership and engineering stakeholders
