Job summary

Equifax seeks an AI engineer to lead our technology transformation in St. Louis, architecting and deploying cloud-native AI systems, APIs, microservices, and MLOps on Google Cloud Platform.

You will mentor a cross-functional team and shape the technical vision with a focus on scalable, reliable AI deployments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in software engineering with leadership and shipping complex, scalable systems.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience with model integration, MLOps, and real-world business problem solving.
• Direct experience architecting solutions with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agentic AI frameworks.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI) expertise.
• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Java; familiarity with Angular, React, or Vue.
• Hands-on experience with LLM observability tools like Langfuse for monitoring agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents on production-scale platforms.
• Lead a cross-functional team of software, quality, and reliability engineers; mentor others.
• Champion MLOps, observability, versioning, monitoring, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, SREs and partners to define technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident response for production issues.
• Drive agile ceremonies and data/metrics driven decision making.
