Job summary

CVS Health seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-native, AI-powered healthcare solutions. This hands-on leader collaborates with Product, Architecture, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to transform ideas into scalable, production-ready products.

The ideal candidate combines AI expertise, cloud architecture, healthcare knowledge, and business acumen to guide product strategy, define solution architecture, oversee implementation,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect)
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• 5+ years of SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis and any relevant database experience
• 5+ years in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices, and API design
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI technologies
• Experience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git) and Kafka
• experience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks (Angular/JavaScript)
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and business processes

Responsibilities

• Identify, Define, and execute end-to-end AI enabled strategic solutions aligned with project objectives
• Lead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas
• Develop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices
• Mentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams
• Assess new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance application processes and recommend their adoption
