Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a seasoned technology leader to shape enterprise architecture, AI strategy, and technology roadmaps. You will partner with business, product, engineering, and architecture leaders to drive modernization and ensure scalable, secure solutions.

This full-time role leads AI adoption programs, governance, and responsible AI practices, mentoring senior engineers and acting as a technology thought leader through industry forums and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership across software engineering, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, or platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and enterprise AI adoption strategies.
• Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Mastery of collaboration, influence, and executive stakeholder management.
• Mastery of growth mindset, innovation, and organizational transformation.
• Mastery of execution, strategic planning, and business outcomes delivery.
• Proven ability to influence enterprise technology direction without direct management authority.

Responsibilities

• Defines and evolves the organization's technology strategy, enterprise architecture principles, and long-term technical roadmap.
• Establishes architectural standards, governance frameworks, and engineering practices that ensure scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
• Leads enterprise AI strategy, operating models, and adoption frameworks across business and technology organizations.
• Assesses and recommends emerging technologies, platforms, and AI capabilities that align with business objectives and transformation goals.
• Partners with executive leadership to align technology investments and modernization initiatives with strategic business priorities.
• Defines enterprise patterns, reference architectures, and governance models for AI, cloud, data, and digital platforms.
• Drives innovation through research, experimentation, proofs of concept, and evaluation of emerging technologies that create competitive advantage.
• Establishes responsible AI, security, compliance, and risk management practices to ensure trusted and sustainable adoption of AI technologies.
• Mentors senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Represents the organization as a technology and AI thought leader through industry forums, conferences, publications, and strategic partnerships.
