Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Sr. Data Architect - AI & Analytics Platforms to design scalable, cloud-native analytics platforms and automated pipelines. You will work closely with data engineers to turn business rules and AI models into robust data products and production pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Data field with 8+ years in data engineering, platform development, or analytics architecture (3+ years senior).
• Strong domain knowledge in CPG/Retail analytics and RMN space.
• Proven hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake, SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable cloud-native analytics platforms enabling self-serve insights and GenAI-enabled analytics.
• Mentor engineers and translate business rules into modular SQL/Python code and data models.
• Design automated measurement engines to compute campaign performance on large retail datasets.
• Integrate multi-retailer POS data and external datasets into a unified Analytics Data Warehouse.
• Productize analytics models into production tools and optimize cloud warehousing.
