Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a senior software architect and engineering leader to drive the design and delivery of complex IT solutions in a hybrid work environment across multiple US locations. You will guide architectural decisions, mentor teams, and champion AI-enhanced development practices while coordinating across project teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required with 10+ years’ experience in this field or MS in Computer Science with 6+ years’ experience in this field required.
• Experienced in all phases of the software development lifecycle with a clear understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Required familiarity with navigation and management within the Azure Cloud portal and experience with Kubernetes clusters.
• Advanced technical proficiency working with the core tech stack: .Net, Angular, and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large projects, build teams, and solve highly complex programming problems.

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, develops, and implements IT software architecture solutions.
• Effectively plans and manages assignments spanning multiple complex projects.
• Drives technical and procedural change relative to best practices in software development.
• Champions and integrates AI-assisted development practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
