Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design, build, and ship autonomous AI agents integrated with our platform. You will own end-to-end delivery, guiding complex functionality from design to production, while mentoring AMTS/MTS engineers and aligning with leadership on objectives.

You will work at the intersection of LLM orchestration, tool-use frameworks, and enterprise systems, delivering reliable, scalable software with a focus on performance and quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including production LLM/agentic systems.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, tool-calling, and RAG patterns.

Responsibilities

• Agentic Systems Engineering: design, build, and deploy multi-step AI agents with tool use.
• Architecture & orchestration: evaluate agent frameworks and optimize deployments for latency and reliability.
• Agile Execution & Technical Delivery: deliver high-quality features across the full lifecycle.
• Guardrails, Monitoring & Operations: build evaluation harnesses and guardrails to prevent hallucinations and unsafe calls.
• Leadership & Collaboration: act as SME/coach for AMTS/MTS engineers and present work to leadership.
