Job summary

Asurion is seeking a Sr/Principal Product Manager to own the Joy AI agent—its reasoning loop, orchestration across tools, and evaluation systems. This role blends hands-on product building with cross-functional leadership to transform household AI challenges into shipped capabilities.

You will partner with engineering, design, data science, and domain teams to ensure reliability, privacy, and measurable customer value while scaling Joy’s journeys across carriers and devices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience.
• Track record of taking concepts to first customers or measurable impact.
• Experience using customer evidence and product metrics to guide decisions.
• Advanced familiarity with AI tooling and prototyping to inform product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the Joy agent reasoning layer end-to-end from concept to launch and iteration.
• Define how Joy interoperates with the Asurion stack.
• Own the evals as the product's quality system (offline/online).
• Define product-quality evals to measure usefulness, trustworthiness, and readiness.
• Partner with engineering on reliable agent architecture including observability and guardrails.
• Demonstrate progress with demos, eval results, and customer discovery.
• Align design, engineering, data science, and executives to ship a breakthrough yet dependable agent.
